Go to School

The ideas come from the relations between places and the consumer’s behavior especially, in the teenager context. This work intends to illustrate their everyday lives at their school. The concept is about interactions of individuals regarding to each locations, (for example, in this case I use shopping malls). Here come the question whether the ways of socialization, obligations or value that we embedded to our children about is working or not.

We have long been learned that our consuming behavior is significant to represent our identity. Believing that the more expensive the better the quality, people are wasting their money or even losing their souls to luxury expensive goods. People are misbehaving via the process of learning from institutions, especially in school.

The purpose of this project is to question the necessary roles of institutions which lead to the actions and value of consuming. Most of all, I intend to make us realize the threat of becoming materialism and release ourselves.
